PAST EMPLOYMENT
2004 - 2005
Holbrook & Shotley Surgery Practices
Holbrook, Ipswich
Over a cumulative period of around 18 weeks during my holidays, I performed a variety of administration tasks at a rural medical practice. I spent a great deal of time, therefore, working with patient database software (EMIS). Naturally I became very familiar with it, and the structure of such a program. I concurrently furthered my knowledge of ailments and their resolutions, which I found most interesting.
2005 - Present
Since September 2005, once a week during Term time (longer during holidays) I have been working at Bluewire Technologies. My main role here is Software Testing. I track down and report bugs, along with exact steps necessary to reproduce them. As time goes by, I have also become more involved in the coding aspects of the software; doing "Extreme Programming" sessions with a colleague, for example.Bluewire Technologies
